These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of eddieburroughs.com, the tc.eddieburroughs.com client portal, and any related services (together, the "Service") operated by Eddie Burroughs, Your Transaction Coordinator ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
We provide administrative transaction coordination services for North Carolina real estate transactions: document tracking, deadline monitoring, party coordination, and file management. We do not provide legal advice, contract interpretation, pricing or negotiation strategy, lender recommendations, or real estate brokerage services. Any question of that nature will be escalated back to your real estate agent or the appropriate licensed professional.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to use the Service. Real estate agents engaging our services represent that they hold a current, active North Carolina real estate license.
Agents engaging us for transaction coordination execute a separate Master Service Agreement (MSA) at onboarding, which controls over these Terms with respect to paid services. The MSA covers scope, fees, payment terms (including pay-at-closing options), and termination.
By opting in to SMS (via our opt-in form, the portal Settings page, or by texting START), you consent to receive text messages at the number you provide. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out; reply HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Your mobile information will not be shared with third parties for their promotional use; operational service providers (e.g., Twilio) process messages on our behalf. Downloadable resources (the TLC Audit, the Hiring Guide, and similar materials) are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal, tax, or professional advice. You use them at your own discretion.
All content on the Service — text, graphics, logos, checklists, templates, SOPs, and software — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by U.S. copyright and trademark law. You may download and print the free resources for personal use in your business. You may not republish, resell, or redistribute our content without written permission.
You agree not to: (a) violate any law or regulation; (b) infringe any intellectual property rights; (c) upload malware or attempt to breach security; (d) scrape, spider, or harvest data; (e) impersonate any person; or (f) use the Service to harass or defame.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee transaction outcomes, closing dates, lender performance, or the actions of third parties.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the six months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
We may suspend or terminate your access for any violation of these Terms or the MSA. You may stop using the Service at any time. Active transactions under the MSA remain governed by the MSA's termination clause.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes become effective when posted here, with the "Last updated" date revised. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.
